1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our digital products, including but not limited to ebooks, audio books, self-service templates, guides, and courses (collectively referred to as "Products" or “Digital Products”). By accessing or using our Products, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Products.

2. Product Access and Availability

When you purchase a Product from us, you will be granted access to it upon successful payment processing. Most often you are granted access to your purchase by us emailing you the Product itself or the login credentials to access it. The availability of the Product may vary, and it may be accessible on our online academy, as a downloadable file (with possible expiry time on the download), or on third-party platforms. We reserve the right to migrate (e.g. change the online platform our academy runs on) or discontinue Products as needed to optimize our operations.

3. Payment and Pricing

Customers may pay for Products using available payment options such as credit card, PayPal, or other similar options. Prices, including VAT if applicable, are clearly stated on the product pages in the currency specified. Payment terms, including one-time payments or subscriptions, are indicated at the time of purchase.

4. Refund and Cancellation Policies

Refund and cancellation policies are outlined on the respective product pages. Refunds may be available within a specified period, typically 30 days, and are subject to our discretion and any applicable payment processor fees. Customers must request refunds via email within the designated timeframe, providing necessary details for processing. When a refund takes place, reserve the right to: 1) Terminate the access to our refunded Products for the customer in question; and 2) Require the customer to delete any locally stored copies of the refunded Product that are stored in any format (analogue or digital) by the person who has initiated a refund.

Requirements for a refund:

  • The refund request must arrive in our inbox before the refund period runs out (measured looking at the purchase timestamp in our system).
  • The refund request must be sent to the email address atte@sallamo.com.
  • The refund email must have the headline: “REFUND: *Your Full Name*”
  • The refund email should clearly specify the items that you wish to refund.
  • The refund request must be sent from the same email that you used to purchase the Product(s).
  • If we need to ask you for more details (such as what Product you want to refund) you have 5 calendar days to respond and provide us with the details. After that period your right to a refund is invalidated in case you fail to send us the details on time.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

Our company retains all rights to the Products offered. Customers are prohibited from distributing, copying, modifying, or commercially using Products without our explicit consent. We may employ identifiers and analytics tools to protect our intellectual property rights and monitor usage for compliance (legitimate interest to use cookies). In the event of a violation of this agreement, customers may be billed for the distribution of our Product(s) and may also incur an accompanying fine for breaching the agreement itself. Any unauthorized use or distribution of our Products will be pursued to the full extent permitted by law.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

We collect and process customer data in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, such as GDPR. Customer information is stored securely and may be used for marketing, sales, communication purposes, and to deliver our Product(s). We utilize cookies and tracking technologies as outlined in our separate cookie policy. As part of this Terms of Service agreement also we reserve the right to use cookies of all kinds as an integral part of our Products so we can 1) Analyse how customers use our Products, and how we can improve them; 2) Safeguard our own intellectual property rights to the Products we offer; and 3) Leverage our customer data in our marketing, sales, and communication activities. This includes the use of all functional cookies, marketing cookies, analytics cookies, and all other cookies as part of our online hosted products.

7. User Conduct

Customers must use Products lawfully, respect intellectual property rights, refrain from unauthorized access or harmful activities, and comply with these Terms. Violation may result in suspension or termination of access, as well as legal action.

8. Liability and Disclaimers

Information provided in our Products is for general advice only and does not guarantee specific outcomes. We are not liable for any direct or indirect harm or losses resulting from the use of our Products.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by Finnish law, and any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Helsinki, Finland. We encourage customers to attempt resolution through direct communication before pursuing legal action, as we are committed to working with our customers to find an amicable resolution.

10. Updates to Terms of Service

We may update these Terms periodically without prior notice. Continued use of the Products after the effective date of any changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms for any changes.
